2019 FB (1)

THIS EVENT IS FULL. Please join us in 2020!

2019 is just around the corner and each of us is headed out into the open waters. In 2019, it's a year where we are going in without resolutions. Does that sound scary?

Listen up, my loves! Resolutions can often be dressed up self-criticisms - a list of things we cannot accept about who we are or where we're at. Instead of a surface-y look at how we'd like to change (become a better mother, go to the gym five times a week, lose weight ), this year, we're going to explore what we want to create in the new year. Underneath our desire to reach certain goals is how we want to feel and be in this lifetime. Everything grows from the roots, and so we're going to begin there, at the core.

This year, before my year-long program A Year of Living Mindfully began, each one of the participants came up with an intention for the year. This intention is very much like a sankalpa, an internal vow. They looked like this:

"Authenticity"

"Joyful Purpose"

"Self-compassion"

All year long, we've been watching these themes work on us, putting us in situations where we get to decide whether to move toward or away from our intention. They've been powerful and magical tools as we move toward our best selves - our "best" being our truest selves.

This January, I would like to invite you to join us in an afternoon of ritual and creativity. First, we will go inward through guided meditation. The meditation will help us arrive at our intentions for the coming year. Then we will create a visual representation of this intention (please don't worry: no art skills required). We will also discuss ways in which to keep your intention close to heart throughout the year.

If you'd like to join me and other awesome people, DO! A year of transformation and alignment awaits.
