Signals of Safety (1)

Join Laura Halpin for a powerful but quiet shift.

Are you one of those perceptive, intelligent beings with a super-touchy amygdala? If so, you know that life ain't easy for a sensitive soul.

It's a crazy, over-stimulating world out there. Not surprising so many of us are susceptible to crippling anxiety and overwhelm.

If you are continually in a hyper-vigilant state (thank you, amygdala), your body's healing resources are being squandered.

It's important to know that your greatest strengths come packaged within your sensitivity. By learning to send your body signals of safety, you can give your strengths some breathing room and step out of a habit-driven and debilitating stress response.

Over the next 25 days in Signals of Safety, we'll be exploring a wide variety of amygdala calming actions. Some signals will be food-related, some thought-related, and some lifestyle related. All of the signals will help you manage the energy that comes at you day in and day out. They will also give you skills to help support your family members.

This is not a class. It's a low time-investment, high-reward experience designed to help you transform your suffering into your superpower. It includes bite-size daily emails to support and empower you.

As social creatures (and sensitive ones at that), we need the support, encouragement and validation of community. By participating in Signals of Safety, you'll feel gently supported as you discover the small hinges that move the big doors of your ease and empowerment.

Two Group Video Meetings with Laura

Deep-dive into the concepts of safety signalling. Get personal help in friendly group mentoring calls.

Signals of Safety has been much more impactful than I ever would have expected.  The daily emails have had a cumulative effect on my attitude and energy, in a way that I feel more empowered and confident  - not vulnerable. I read the messages when I'm starting my day and they're just the right length to actually "absorb."  I'm finding myself taking action. It's the subtle shifts in thinking and behavior that are really working for me.   - Jill K.

Signals of Safety is a gentle journey into the ways in which we can achieve optimal health of our mind, body and spirit. It is akin to a 15-course tasting menu at a 5-star restaurant. Each email is beautiful to look at, surprising in its composition and just enough to whet your appetite for more.

The answers to your questions:

Q: Is this a class? How much time will this take me?

A: It's not a class, but you'll learn a lot. First and foremost, it's designed to bring ease, not added stress. You will receive an email almost every day that you'll want to read first thing. It will help you begin  your day from a mindful and present state, even when choas abounds around you. I'll be sharing a mix of nutritional and lifestyle tips along with some of my personal insights into harnessing anxiety.

Q: Will there be a Facebook group?

A: Please, no! Social media is perfect for triggering and exacerbating anxiety. We want to keep this experience QUIET. You'll have a chance to get to know your fellow safety signalers via the group calls. For those of you who are introverts, you don't need to be seen via video.

Q: What are the group calls about? And what if I miss?

A: The calls are Q&A format. The call content will be determined by you and your fellow safety signalers. The calls are an opportunity to ask questions about applying the email content in your day-to-day lives. Both of the calls will be recorded. You can submit questions ahead of time and I'll answer them even if you can't make it live. This is especially useful if you're not living in my time zone. Ideally, if you're available, join us live. It's a much richer experience.

With Signals of Safety Laura has mined all of the gold nuggets from her teaching and sends them one by one to me each morning. I love starting off my day with something easy and actionable I can do that day to bring some ease into my mind and life. The messages are kind, supportive and empowering.

As an integrative medicine doctor and psychotherapist it is very important for me to work in collaboration with other professionals who understand the mind and body connection. Laura Halpin's work with clients encompasses all that is healthy for the mind, body and soul. She is an expert on what and how to eat. She addresses the importance of how we think and how to live with gratitude. What I truly love about her groups are the support network that develops. Support is one of the key elements for wellness. Laura teaches with grace, smile, compassion and great flavors!
